Daredevil: Born Again clears up doubts, the series will have a third season

Marvel Studios confirms a new season for the highly-anticipated series.

Update:

The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen will continue to protect the city. Marvel Studios has given the green light to the third season of Daredevil: Born Again, which is scheduled to begin filming sometime in 2026.

The information was revealed in an interview between Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel Studios, and IGN. “In terms of Daredevil, yeah, we are greenlit for Season 3 and we start shooting next year,” Winderbaum said. This clears up the confusion that the series would end after its second season following comments made last month by Charlie Cox, although D’Onofrio suggested there was still a “good chance” of more.

The second season is already in the works

For now, we’ll have to wait and see what Season 2 of the series has in store for us, which is set to premiere in early 2026. The return of this revival series earlier this year was a huge success, receiving a very positive response from fans after its arrival on Disney+, and continuing the story that began almost a decade ago on Netflix.

The fate of the Man Without Fear during season 2 remains to be seen, with much information still under wraps. We can only hope that with a third season on the horizon, the story of the next season will have a more coherent structure. For now, we know that Kristen Ritter will return as Jessica Jones, opening up the possibility of seeing the Defenders again, while Elden Henson, who was given a brief cameo as Foggy Nelson in Born Again’s reshot pilot episode, will also appear in some capacity.
