Daredevil Born Again Season 2 might be the last one according to Charlie Cox

The return of Daredevil as a more integral part of the MCU was one of the most glorious moments for fans last year. After a long wait, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio returned with Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, and although the fan response was quite positive, leading to the approval of a second season, for Charlie Cox, this will be the last time we see the Man Without Fear.

During a panel at GalaxyCon, the actor referred to the second season of Daredevil: Born Again as the “final season,” suggesting that the series, which is expected to arrive on Disney+ in 2026, will be the end of this revival. “There’s something we do in this final season that doesn’t exist in the comics, so it’s unique to our show,” Cox said, talking about Daredevil’s costume.

However, the matter is not decisive, as it seems that Daredevil’s arch-nemesis has no intention of stopping hurting him anytime soon. It was Vincent D’Onofrio himself who responded on social media that “there’s a good chance there will be a third” when asked about the series’ future plans.

Daredevil in preparation for a second season

For now, whether this is really the last season, the continuation of the Daredevil story is underway. We know that the series will be back in March next year and that Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones will be returning, with whom Charlie Cox already had an encounter in the Netflix crossover series (and former home of Daredevil), The Defenders. Could we also see the return of Iron Fist and Luke Cage in the future?
