Marvel Studios

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ set photos give us our first look at Charlie Cox in an impressive new hero suit

New photos from the Daredevil: Born Again have revealed an amazing new suit for Charlie Cox’s blind vigilante, shining even with Marvel’s disdain for logos.

New photographs continue to arrive straight from the filming set of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, Marvel Studios’ next series that will bring back the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen from the Netflix show, now officially part of the MCU. This time, the new set photos show us a detailed look at Charlie Cox in his new suit. And with it comes the confirmation that It will not have a logo on its chest, a very comic-like element that Marvel Studios keeps refusing to bring to the big screen.

Marvel Studios bets everything on red with Daredevil

These new images (below), show off the design of the new Daredevil suit that Marvel Studios has put together for its next series in detail. As you can see, it is an evolution of the Devil’s previous outfits, both in Netflix and in the MCU, betting on an intense red color instead of the duller maroon tones or the gold details seen in ‘She-Hulk’.

From what we can see in the different photos of Charlie Cox with his new outfit, we’re getting a design that embraces more the comic style and that seems to leave aside the more “realistic” details seen in the Netflix design. Now the suit is more homogeneous, without so many layers or changes of materials and colors. The mask, for its part, abandons the more marked expressions and leaves us with a generally flatter surface.

And sadly, there is no trace of any “DD” logo on the chest, a Marvel Comics classic. The same goes for the appearance of Bullseye, which doesn’t show a target like in the comics, an essential element of the mythical villain. Be that as it may, it will still take us a while to see ‘Daredevil Born Again’ on Disney+, probably between the end of 2024 and the first half of 2025.
