The third entry into the Deadpool movie franchise will be filled to the brim with surprises, according to Ryan Reynolds himself, and it’s not just Hugh Jackman’s return.
The countdown continues until July 26, 2024, which is when ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ is set to finally release. At the moment, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and the rest of the cast and crew of the next MCU film is hard at work on their world tour promoting the movie, so we’re getting more tidbits of information about it, like the fact that the movie will be absolutely full of cameos and surprises that haven’t even been hinted at yet.
‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ will be full of cameos according to Ryan Reynolds
As shared by Comicbook.com, it was Reynolds himself, alongside director Shawn Levy, who revealed that fans are still going to be very surprised with everything they’ve managed to put into the movie when it comes to cameos and surprises. During a fan event in Berlin, the director said: “We wish we could show you the whole movie, but Marvel won’t let us do that. We have to wait a couple more weeks.”
And Reynolds hyped up fans even more: “The honest truth is we’re hiding a lot, which is why we’re showing this amount of footage. There’s kind of an impossible amount of surprises that, in a couple of weeks, we’re so excited to unleash.”
Fans who have been able to attend these previews of the film have stated that what is being shown in trailers and other promotional images correspond to only the first thirty minutes of the movie, which is what has been shown at these events. This would suggest that the filmmakers have managed to keep the vast majority of the movie a complete secret, and that there is plenty to be surprised about when the movie finally releases.
