‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ confirms the return of the classic Sabretooth in new teaser
Sabretooth is confirmed to appear in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, with a new teaser giving fans a rematch over 20 years in the making.
Much - probably too much - has been said in recent months about the possible cameos that we will enjoy in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, one of the most anticipated films of the year. While the presence of Taylor Swift remains a mystery, no matter how much Marvel has ensured that it will not happen, fans continue to speculate about it, but we now have a 100% confirmed face-to-face: the one that Wolverine will have... with Sabretooth!
This is what Sabretooth looks like in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’
Surprisingly, when we could expect one of Logan’s (Hugh Jackman) biggest antagonists to be the one played by Liv Schreiber in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’, it’ll actually be the one played by Tyler Mane in the first ‘X-Men’ movie. In this short but fun teaser, Wolverine and Sabretooth prepare to face each other for the umpteenth time while Deadpool can’t resist getting in the middle of both of them. This is this new preview shared by Hugh Jackman from his official X account:
“Stop bringing up my past,” Jackman briefly said on the social network, and everything indicates that Sabretooth will not be the only classic enemy that Wolverine will have to see again in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’. Precisely the role of the villain was Mayne’s debut, having since specialized in horror films, playing Michael Myers in the versions of ‘Halloween’ by Rob Zombie, as well as others like ‘The Devil’s Rejects’(also from Zombie), ‘Victor Crowley’, and more.
‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ premieres on July 26, 2024, with confirmed cameos also from Jennifer Garner (Elektra) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor), although there are many others rumored.
