Deadpool & Wolverine Debut First Trailer During Super Bowl
The Merc with a Mouth and Weapon X make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, promising to get it back on track.
We didn’t have to wait too long to see the arrival of Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the first commercial break of Super Bowl LVIII we had the commercial that announced what was already rumored, the first trailer for Deadpool 3, now known as Deadpool & Wolverine. But say no more, here is the teaser trailer:
Deadpool makes its debut in the MCU
The trailer begins with Wade Wilson enjoying a happy and peaceful life until the TVA comes to “kindly” ask for his help... Just like with the God of Mischief, they offer him a deal: he can either help them solve a problem or be killed on the spot and become the savior of the MCU, the Jesus of Marvel... well, in Deadpool’s own words.
In the trailer many leaks have been confirmed as in this movie Deadpool and Wolverine would meet thanks to the TVA to face a great evil -which could be Kang the Conqueror- and we could also see the mouthy mercenary shooting left and right on the set with the 20th Century Fox logo destroyed. Although no further details are given about what will happen, at the moment we are left with two questions: how Wolverine will arrive in this crossover, and again, if we will have the participation of Taylor Swift.
The future of the MCU in 2024
2024 promises to be an extremely quiet year within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with only a few installments scheduled for what is still Phase 5. The first, Echo, debuted earlier this year on Disney+ and continues to feature Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin as one of the MCU’s most terrifying villains. Deadpool & Wolverine will be released in theaters on July 26, 2024.
