Death Stranding is making the jump to Xbox with a much lower price than on PS5
It took a couple of years, but Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding will finally be available for Xbox Players to enjoy and be confused by.
Some say that console exclusives are losing steam, especially after Microsoft decided to release some of its titles on other platforms (Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle...). However, at the time it seemed like only Microsoft was willing to take that stance of releasing its games on consoles other than their own. But now it’s been announced that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is coming to Xbox Series X and S.
Hideo Kojima’s game has already been released on PC through the Microsoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, and now it not only comes to the Microsoft console, but it does so at a lower price than on PS5: $39.99, with a discounted msrp of only $19.99 for those who buy it before November 21. You can preorder it at this link.
In addition, there is an important change for the future of what is already a franchise, since the IP has become the property of Kojima Productions, so from now on it will be Hideo Kojima who decides on which platforms his next titles are released. What happens with Death Stranding 2 remains to be seen.
In our review of the original game, we said that “if you focus on the many virtues that Death Stranding possesses, You will enjoy a great experience, a work from the heart that will move many and leave an indelible memory. in that future that is in our hands.”
