'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' will have a major announcement next week
Infinity Castle Arc Announcement Coming?
The end of ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is fast approaching with the imminent arrival of the ‘Infinity Castle arc’. It was announced in the middle of this year that this arc would be a three-movie format, but since then we have had no further information about it. However, there is a glimmer of light and hope at the end of the tunnel that may bring us some details.
The anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account has announced that there will be an official YouTube broadcast with information about the anime next Monday, December 9th at 3:00 am Japan Time (which would be 1:00 pm ET / 10:00 am PT on Sunday, December 8th). This broadcast will be done through the Aniplex account, which is already waiting for the broadcast to go live.
What can we expect from this stream?
It should be noted that the press release does not mention that this is 100% related to the final arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, so the question is, what can we expect from this stream? Certainly, since this arc was announced in June 2024, many details are still missing. So anything from a teaser to new official artwork to a release window would be something that fans would surely appreciate. This announcement takes on even more significance as it coincides with the approach of Jump Festa, Japan’s largest anime festival, which takes place from December 20-22, where more information could be revealed.

At the same time, as announced in the tweet, attendees of CCXP in Sao Paulo, Brazil will have the opportunity to attend a panel on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, featuring the Seiyūs of the characters from the anime, as well as the voice actors for the country’s version. Although smaller, it may not be a coincidence that this panel will be held at the same time as the announcement.
