Den of Wolves shows off its most realistic heist yet: no CGI, just pure gameplay
The studio opens its doors to four fans to capture an unscripted session and showcase the project’s progress without empty promises.

The PC Gaming Show 2025 stage was the venue chosen by 10 Chambers to put the spotlight back on its next big project: Den of Wolves. However, far from presenting a pre-rendered cinematic or a demo by its developers, the studio decided to take an unconventional and much more honest route to connect with its audience.
On this occasion, 10 Chambers decided to open the doors of its offices to four of its most loyal fans. The new trailer is not a choreographed sequence, but a genuine gameplay session. According to Robin Björkell, the studio’s communications director, this decision stems from respect for the player: unable to give a firm release date, they wanted to show that the game is real, tangible, and enjoyable, without any scripts involved.
A glimpse of Midway City and its threats
What we see in this footage is a full-blown heist in an unprecedented setting: a gigantic robot factory. For fans of the cooperative heist genre, the images look promising. Players must not only coordinate to infiltrate the facility, but also face mixed resistance from human and robotic enemies, adding a layer of tactical complexity to the combat.
Among the gadgets on display, spider drills stand out as essential tools for hacking vault cameras and securing the loot. The design philosophy remains intact: assemble your team, devise the plan, and execute it. As mentioned by “RandomKenny,” one of the invited fans, the satisfaction lies in planning and executing the strategy, a pillar that PAYDAY veterans will immediately recognize.
