Den of Wolves trailer unveils a new gameplay look that shows promise
Update:

During the Future Games Show and Level Infinite Showcase, Swedish developer 10 Chambers unveiled a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming co-op FPS, Den of Wolves. The presentation combined gameplay footage with insights from Creative Director Ulf Andersson and Audio & Music Director Simon Viklund for a brand-new look at this game.

Although short, the trailer shows us more about the high-octane gameplay the studios have promised since its presentation at The Game Awards 2023. During the showcase, Andersson mentioned that the game is designed to appeal to both meticulous planners and those who prefer to jump into the action. He noted, “It’s almost as if we’re creating two games at the same time,” suggesting a level of player freedom and variety rarely seen in the genre. “Either you plan the heist, or you are there to help carry out the plan.”

Players can get a taste of the game’s atmosphere now, as the new track “Logic Bomb” from the official soundtrack is available on Spotify and other streaming services. Audio & Music Director Simon Viklund, who is collaborating with Hollywood talents like Greg Ellis (Argo, Transformers) and Jamie Christopherson (Metal Gear Rising), is focused on creating a distinctive soundscape for the game.

A heist in our sights

It’s no exaggeration to say that we’ve had Den of Wolves in our sights for quite some time. In April of this year, we had the opportunity to be among the first to play the upcoming title from 10 Chambers, noting that “From the first moment we play Den of Wolves, we feel this immersive world and a different kind of storytelling, much more immersive than in GTFO. 10 Chambers has created a universe where technology has been pushed to its limits, creating a perfect scenario for high-stakes heists and corporate espionage, where the main element is playing as a team.” For now, and although the game does not yet have a definitive release date, we will have to wait for Early Access to experience this futuristic world in the company of our crew.
