Diablo 4 angers the community due to Season Pass rewards
Diablo 4 players have found out that the platinum coins earned as rewards in the Season Pass are not enough to purchase a single item of the in-game store.
The arrival of Diablo 4′s Season 1 has not been exempt from being involved in controversy. Players have recently discovered that the Season Pass only rewards players who complete it with 666 platinum coins, a laughable figure considering that the cheapest item in the store is priced at 800 platinum coins.
But the problem does not stop there: it’s also not enough to buy the pass of the next season in Diablo 4. The Premium tier line costs 1000 platinum coins, which in exchange is around 10 dollars. Fans have been furious to find out that the time they invest in completing it will not be enough to chain the next seasons, something common in this type of program.
Specifically, the current season pass offers 10 reward slots of 60 platinum coins each. The last one is 66, which rounds off the figure with the mythical number. The discomfort of users has been seen on social networks. In a Reddit post, they already accumulate more than 7,000 upvotes for the complaint. “I’m not spending any more money on this game. I could not even login and play yesterday,” said user u/lowjazz.
“They gave you just little enough that you’ll have to spend ~$5 to get anything from the shop or to afford the next BP”, u/Reddit-propogandist shared on the other hand. “Bethesda has had seasons in Fallout 76 and EVERY single one gives you enough Atoms to buy the next seasons BP. This is has been the standard for pretty much every BP I’ve seen until now” There are more than 1000 comments on a post that continues to grow with each passing day.
Diablo 4 is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
