Diablo 4 release date and times, early access: when can you start playing?
Diablo 4 is only a few days away, so if you’re getting ready to jump into the world of Sanctuary you’ll need to know exactly at what time the servers open.
The release of Diablo 4 is almost upon us, and players around the world are getting ready to jump into the game to slay some demons and get some loot. But we all must wait until Blizzard puts those servers online, so take a look at when exactly you’ll be able to play the game.
Diablo 4 release date and times
The official Diablo 4 release date and time will be at exactly the same time for everyone around the world, but that means that it’ll be a different time depending on your timezone and region. Diablo IV begins on June 5 at 4PM PDT. This is when owners of any edition of Diablo IV can begin their journey.
Early access and how to get in
If you want to join the game with a little bit of an advantage, then you might want to get in through early access. The only way to get in before everyone else is to have pre-purchased either the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition before the official launch mentioned above.
Early Access to Diablo 4 begins globally on June 1 at 4PM PDT, so you’ll have to check the map below for the exact time in your region.
The foundations of a hellishly good time
If you’re still on the edge about whether to get Diablo 4 or not, well we might have something to help with that. Blizzard invited us to try a pre-release version of the game a few games ago, and we brought you that experience through our Review-in-progress of the game. Given the live-service nature of this new title, it’s almost impossible to guarantee how the game will fare once the servers go live, but what is there with the base game at launch is fantastic.
In our review, we said that Diablo 4 is “a genuinely fun game that evolves the Diablo formula players love, with an expansive world shared with hordes of other players. We’ll keep playing to figure out if it all lives up to its promises after the rest of the content makes its way to the game.” Check out the full review so you can get a deeper insight into what to expect when the game officially goes live on June 5 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
