Disney+ will have a new increase in its service and packages starting in October
The most expensive plan will maintain its price, however.

It has been a year since Disney last raised the price of its streaming service, Disney+. And although at the time this increase was focused only on its ad-free version, this time we will see a price increase across all categories, as well as on packages with Hulu and ESPN+.
Significant price increase for Disney+ and packages starting in October
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney+ will increase its prices starting October 21. For individual Disney+ subscribers, the ad-supported plan will see a $2 increase, raising the monthly cost to $11.99. Meanwhile, the ad-free Disney+ Premium plan will jump by $3, bringing its price to $18.99 per month. These adjustments follow a pattern of annual price hikes as Disney works to balance subscriber growth with the rising costs of content production.
As mentioned, Disney+ packages will also see an increase. The Disney+ and Hulu bundle will now cost $12.99 per month, a $2 increase from its previous price of $10.99. Similarly, the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select Bundle will increase to $19.99 from $16.99, while its Premium counterpart (which features ad-free Disney+ and Hulu with ads on ESPN) will go up to $29.99, a $3 hike. Meanwhile, the only bundle that will not see a price increase will be the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited Bundle, which launched recently to drive new subscriptions, keeping its $29.99 monthly price.
The Disney+ price increase comes at a very particular time for the company. Just a couple of weeks ago, following the (temporary) suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show, a campaign was launched encouraging people to protest by canceling their subscription to the service. Disney reinstated the program on Monday, with Kimmel returning this week.
