Dragon Ball

'Dragon Ball Daima' now has a release date, coinciding with the saga's other major release in 2024

The new ‘Dragon Ball’ anime has confirmed its release date in Japan, the same day as the long-awaited Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO.

Dragon Ball Daima

Good news for fans of ‘Dragon Ball’. ‘Dragon Ball Daima’, the new anime of the franchise created by Akira Toriyama, already has an official release date in Japan: October 11, 2024. Speculations about the arrival of the new anime starring Goku and company beyond the previously known release window, which was none other than this fall, are over. Best of all, ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ will arrive on the same day as the saga’s other big release this year: the video game Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. Double release of ‘Dragon Ball’ on the same day!

Daima and Sparking Duo! ZERO on October 11

So it has been confirmed that the new and long-awaited anime ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ will be available in Japan on October 11 via Fuji TV. However, it is still unknown when the new Goku anime will arrive in the West, as it still has no release date outside of Japan’s borders; let’s hope it doesn’t take much longer.

Japanese fans of the adventures of Goku and company have double the work to do next October 11, as they can enjoy the premiere of ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ and the new video game Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, a title that recovers the gameplay style of the Budokai Tenkaichi saga, a full ‘Dragon Ball’ simulator with the latest technology and up to 164 fighters at launch.

Now it remains that Toei Animation has decided to resume the production of the anime ‘Dragon Ball Super’, since it was paralyzed after the arc of the Tournament of Power, while the manga has continued until the current hiatus due to the death of Akira Toriyama, although it is expected that Toyotaro will soon resume his activity with the work of his master mangaka to complete the next arc with Black Freezer as the antagonist.
