Two monsters we already met in the Demon Realm.

Jump Festa 2025 is the annual manga and anime exhibition sponsored by Shueisha, where some of the world’s most important series present many of their novelties and curiosities. ‘Dragon Ball’ is usually one of the protagonists of the event, and this last edition was used to commemorate the legendary Akira Toriyama, showing some of his latest illustrations and designs that are part of ‘Dragon Ball Daima’, showing how close the mangaka was to the anime released this year.

These are the designs of Majin Kuu and Majin Duu, the successors of Majin Buu introduced in ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ and designed by a Toriyama who left us last March. The Jump Festa served as a way for fans to see that the new story would continue to maintain the spirit of its creator, who was involved in the new anime and the designs of these new characters appearing in the Demon Realm.

The arrival of new villains in true Toriyama style

The latest episodes of ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ showed us the new origin of Majin Buu, with the witch Marba being the creator of Majin Buu and not Babidi as originally thought. Two new monsters have been created this time, using a leftover piece of Majin Buu as well as Saibaman seeds.

Looking at Akira Toriyama’s original designs and the final appearance of the two monsters in ‘Dragon Ball Daima’, the team stayed completely faithful to the mangaka’s idea. A work that is a tribute to a figure who completely changed the manga and anime industry worldwide.
