‘Dragon Ball’ Fans Choose the Strongest Warrior of the Series in a Global Tournament

One of the most curious social media initiatives of the past few weeks comes to an end with the final round of the Dragon Ball Secret Battle Hour. This is an online event in which ‘Dragon Ball’ fans from all over the world were able to vote for their favorite characters of the series created by Akira Toriyama through an elimination round consisting of 20 characters from all sagas. The final battle pitted two Saiyans as powerful as Bardock and Broly, with the legendary Super Saiyan Broly emerging victorious in his ‘Dragon Ball Super’ version thanks to the massive support of his fans.

Broly is the Winner of the Secret Battle Hour Tournament

Over the past few days, 20 of the most powerful and popular characters from all of the ‘Dragon Ball’ sagas have been engaged in a series of virtual battles as part of the Secret Battle Hour initiative promoted on the official ‘Dragon Ball’ account on X. Each battle was posted on the social network and fans could support one of the two fighters by liking and reposting. The winner moved on to the next round, and so on to the final, where Bardock, Goku’s father, and Broly, the famous legendary Super Saiyan, faced off.

In the end, it was Broly who was chosen by the fans to win this strange virtual tournament, receiving twice as many votes as his rival. In the semi-finals, Bardock defeated Goku, while Broly did the same to Son Gohan. However, on his way to the grand final, Bardock had to measure his strength against powerful rivals such as Frieza - completing his revenge - or Android 17, while Broly faced Trunks and Moro, one of the last villains of ‘Dragon Ball Super’.
