Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO: these are all the versions of Goku and Vegeta in the game

Akira Toriyama’s masterpiece just got a new game, Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO, and as the biggest fighting game in the franchise there are various versions of the main heroes.

A total of 182 fighters make up the initial roster of Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero, the fighting game that continues the legacy of the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi saga. The title covers all the stages of Akira Toriyama’s manga and anime, which means that it includes everything from characters from the earliest ‘Dragon Ball’ - a few from the era of Goku as a child, of course - to the most current products. It’s not that all the characters are different, some are repeated at different times in the story or they differ depending on the transformations. As it could not be otherwise, there are different variants of the two most iconic protagonists, Son Goku and Vegeta.

All different versions of Goku

  • Kid Goku (‘Dragon Ball’)
  • Goku (beginning of Z)
  • Goku (Mid Z)
  • Goku (Ending of Z)
  • Goku Super Saiyan (Z)
  • Goku Super Saiyan 2 (Z)
  • Goku Super Saiyan 3 (Z)
  • Goku (Super)
  • Goku Super Saiyan (Super)

The different versions of Vegeta

  • Vegeta (Z- Scouter)
  • Ozaru Vegeta
  • Vegeta (early Z)
  • Vegeta Super Saiyan (beginnings of Z)
  • Super Vegeta
  • Vegeta (Z endings)
  • Vegeta Super Saiyan (ending of Z)
  • Vegeta Super Saiyan 2 (Z endings)

  • Vegeta Super Saiyan (Super)
  • Vegeta Super Saiyan God (Super)

Three other GT characters related to Vegeta are the different transformations of Baby. This villain belongs to a parasitic species, so he is capable of entering other people’s bodies and using his power to control them. After becoming Baby Vegeta, he managed to transform into Super Baby and Level 2 Super Baby. Later, he fights Goku in the Ozaru Baby state.

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
