A legendary Dragon Quest title is making its comeback very soon, with Square Enix finally revealing more details about its revamped gameplay

November 14th is now a date marked on the calendar of every JRPG fan, as one of the greatest legends of the genre returns in what aims to be the best version of itself. Dragon Quest III HD-2D is considered by many to be one of the best installments of the saga, the starting point of the Erdrick trilogy, which will continue in the future with the also announced launch of Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D version.

Japanese media has now shared an in-depth gameplay trailer for the game, which reconfirms that we have before us a serious candidate for one of the best releases of the year. A game that continues to stand out and provide new features, showing the enormous love that has been put into this version, with a large amount of added and retouched content to make the best gaming experience for both fans of the original and the saga and for new players who wish to enter it.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake continues to show new features

All the news that the game has been showing in the different gameplays that it has released in recent days in Japanese media have been compiled by Twitter user (X) Genki_JPN:

  • 3 difficulty settings
  • Battle speed can be adjusted with shoulder buttons
  • Auto saves
  • 9 slots for manual saves
  • Last 30 conversations are saved in the menu
  • 2 camera distances: normal and close-up
  • Mini-map can be toggled on or off
  • 2 graphics modes on console: Framerate (60fps) or Graphics (4K)
  • 4K resolution on PS5, Xbox and PC
