Update:

One of the most anticipated science fiction trilogies of recent years is about to come to a close. From Denis Villeneuve comes ‘Dune: Part 3’, and today, the long-awaited day when we get to see its first trailer, has finally arrived. The final stretch of 2026 will be marked by the release of this film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026. Without further ado, here is the first trailer released by Warner Bros.

The plot of ‘Dune: Part 3’ is based on ‘Dune Messiah’, the second novel in the literary series created by Frank Herbert and a direct sequel to ‘Dune’. The story takes place 12 years after Paul Atreides becomes emperor, exploring the political, religious, and personal consequences of his rise to power.

‘Dune Part 3′ will feature a cast packed with today’s biggest names in Hollywood, a lineup that underscores just how massive this project has been and the profits it has generated. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, and Rebecca Ferguson are returning, alongside stars such as Josh Brolin, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Momoa, and Robert Pattinson, forming one of the most impressive casts in contemporary cinema.
