‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ is getting a live-action series from the creator of ‘Family Guy’ and the screenwriter of ‘The Mandalorian’
Matt Dinniman’s famous fantasy and role-playing book series is making the leap to streaming.

Following in the footsteps of Brandon Sanderson, Peacock has greenlit the production of a live-action series based on ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl,’ one of the most prolific literary sagas in the fantasy genre. The project, which is still far from having a release date, will feature Seth MacFarlane (‘Family Guy,’ ‘Ted’) as executive producer and Chris Yost (‘The Mandalorian’) as screenwriter.
Matt Dinniman, the author of the original novels, will be involved in the series as an executive producer, ensuring that the adaptation remains true to his style. This puts an end to the rumors circulating about this adaptation, which initially appeared to be in the hands of Universal International Studios.
