Dungeons and Dragons comes to LEGO with this awesome set full of magic
Throw your initiative and you better be proficient in your dexterity to be able to build the next set of this collaboration between LEGO and Dungeons and Dragons.
Adventurers, dice lovers, and those struggling to plan your next role-playing game, it’s time to celebrate and get together to “build” your next adventure. After much rumor and speculation, LEGO has revealed the first look at Red Dragon’s Tale, its first Dungeons and Dragons-inspired set in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast.
This set will be available starting April 1 for those members of the LEGO Insiders program and for those with Lucky on April 4 at a price of $359.99. Red Dragon’s Tale will feature an incredible 3,745 pieces, bringing classic Dungeons and Dragons scenarios to their fullest expression in LEGO form.
What is included the Dungeons & Dragons LEGO set?
For the aforementioned price, you would expect a lot of content, and boy, does it have it. This LEGO Ideas set comes with three different settings: a tavern where our adventurers can plan or celebrate their latest adventure, what appears to be a swamp or forest, and the castle tower.
The set includes 6 minifigs where we meet four adventurers (Orc Rogue, Gnome Fighter, Elf Wizard and Dwarf Cleric) and enemies like an Owl Bear, a Gelatinous Cube or a Displacer Beast. In addition, the set includes other interesting winks and enemies from the universe, such as a Mimic disguised as a chest, a Beholder, and even an imposing dragon Cinderhowl.
A bonus for role-playing fans
Another interesting detail is that those who purchase this set will have access to a special Dungeons and Dragons Adventure Book that will allow them to play with this set as if it were a role-playing adventure. In addition, a special stream will be held on April 6th at 9:00 AM PST to showcase this special Dungeons and Dragons game. This adventure book will be available either as a free digital download or as a paperback book that can be purchased with 2,7000 Insider points.
