EA Sports FC 24 is already in the stores, the popular EA Sports football simulator faces a new stage after leaving the FIFA license. A game that presents improvements over previous editions, but in a sense is still consistent. To the surprise of some, the Nintendo Switch version is one of the most outstanding, and in general, it stands up to comparison with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of the game.

The graphic comparison was made by the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits, which specializes in technical, visual, and performance comparisons of video games on different consoles. On this occasion, EA Sports FC 24 is the chosen title, and the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions are compared. Resolution, physics, lighting, textures, animations, models, and frame rate are analyzed to show the differences in the game depending on the console you play it on.

A more than worthy version of EA Sports FC 24 on Nintendo Switch.

The changes between PlayStation 5 and the other versions are outstanding, with a noticeable difference in textures, animations, models, lighting, and physics. On the other hand, the differences between PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch are not so outstanding, with more details in the PS4 version, but the Switch version holds up well and is up to par. The resolution, on the other hand, shows clear differences, with native 4K on the PS5, Full HD on the PS4, and 1080p in TV mode on the Nintendo Switch, while it’s at 720p in handheld mode. The framerate on PS5 and PS4 is 60 frames per second, while on Switch it is a stable 30 FPS, which is one of the big differences between the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions.

Nintendo Switch boasts the best version of an EA Sports football game the console has ever seen. The Frostbite engine looks great on Nintendo’s hybrid console, giving soccer fans a great chance to enjoy the beautiful game on the go.
