EA SPORTS FC 24′s never-before-seen bug that fills UT Champions with cheaters

EA SPORTS FC 24 is embroiled in a new controversy following the discovery of a glitch that allows you to win easily in UT Champions.

UT Champions has become a battleground due to a bug. EA SPORTS FC 24 players have discovered a glitch that changes the meaning of running with the ball close to your body. The ball fuses with the player’s leg, allowing them to keep possession without any chance of it being stolen. Matches have become a race to run with the ball fused to the player’s leg until it reaches the opponent’s goal, completely changing the feel of the game.

EA SPORTS is already aware of the problem and is working to solve it on all platforms where the game has been released. As we can see from their official Trello, they have been looking for a solution since the 19th of October last year. As this is a minor gameplay issue, it will most likely be fixed with an internal patch that does not require any prior download.

Social networks are filled with clips showing the abuse of some players performing this bug. The moment they succeed, the defensive transition becomes impractical. The player with the ball always ends up crossing the goal line. “Even though EA is responsible for this glitch, they should perma ban every player who’s abusing it. It’s ridiculous,” said one of the users on the Reddit dedicated to the franchise.

If players resort to this type of glitch to gain some advantage, they will be penalized. The code of conduct that players accept before they start playing the game states that cheating in the game will result in being banned from the game for some time.

EA SPORTS FC 24 is available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
