EA SPORTS FC 26 reveals Ultimate Edition cover with Zlatan Ibrahimović, and sets trailer date
The legendary striker returns to headline EA’s next football game, with the first trailer dropping July 16.
EA SPORTS FC 26 is officially kicking off its promotional campaign, and it’s doing so with a legend. The Ultimate Edition cover star has been revealed as none other than Zlatan Ibrahimović, marking a bold and nostalgic choice for fans of the sport. Alongside the announcement, EA confirmed that the game’s first official trailer will premiere on Tuesday, July 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET on the EA SPORTS FC YouTube channel.
A cover that pays tribute to football’s past
The Ultimate Edition artwork recreates a famous photo from Zlatan’s youth: the Swedish striker lounging on his bed wearing a Malmö FF jersey, surrounded by posters of his idol Ronaldo Nazário. EA’s updated version features Zlatan in the same pose, now older and iconic, with visual nods to his time at Ajax, Juventus, Inter, PSG, and AC Milan.
The room is filled with memorabilia, including:
- A PSG jersey with “Ibrahimović 10”
- A wall of medals and club logos
- A monitor displaying a screenshot from EA SPORTS FC 26
