Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the first and only expansion for FromSoftware’s RPG masterpiece, has already been available for a few weeks and still players are discovering secrets and fighting against some of the hardest bosses in the studio’s history. And as expected, the devs continue to work on balancing the game and fixing bugs, this time through patch 1.12.3, which brings with it everything from bug fixes to relatively noticeable nerfs for many of the weapons and skills that can be found in the DLC.
Curiously, apart from a single PvP-exclusive balancing adjustment, most of the nerfs come as part of general balancing of the game, which means that the “cheese” that certain players have been using to easily beat the final boss of the expansion has been basically removed. All in all, certain weapons have been weakened to their intended levels, while others have had their animations and movesets tuned up.
