Elon Musk calls ‘The Boys’ ending “Pathetic,” and its creator reacts: “I’ll never get a better review ever”
The conclusion of ‘The Boys’ divides fans and draws direct criticism from Elon Musk, who receives an ironic response from creator Eric Kripke following its premiere on Prime Video.
The final episode of ‘The Boys’ has been the talk of the town since it premiered yesterday, Wednesday, on Prime Video... and it’s not over yet. As was to be expected, some fans are satisfied with the ending, but others—who saw it coming—believe it fell short. One person who disagrees with the conclusion—though we doubt he’s even seen it—is Elon Musk, who has called it outright “pathetic.”

Elon Musk reacts to the ending of ‘The Boys,’ and Eric Kripke responds candidly SPOILERS
A user on X commented on the social media platform that “The show’s writers turned Homelander into a Trump analogue, and this is how they chose to end ‘The Boys’. This entire show was just a deranged sexual humiliation fantasy projected onto Trump. They can’t even produce a decent superhero parody without injecting their twisted fetishes.” Elon Musk responded directly with a succinct “pathetic.”
If Musk watched this latest episode, he probably didn’t enjoy the character, who is clearly a parody of him. In any case, Eric Kripke, the showrunner of ‘The Boys’, quoted the South African tycoon’s comment and was both blunt and ironic.
“OMG, this is his take on what ‘The Boys’ did to Homelander—I’ll never get a better review than this,” said Kripke, clearly pleased with Musk’s reaction to the series. The latest episode is now available on Prime Video, as is the entire series, spanning all five seasons.
‘The Boys’ is an adaptation of the comic book written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by Darick Robertson, and as we saw earlier, it differs in a few ways from the TV series.
