Elon Musk to open AI video game studio to 'make games great again'.

The tycoon says that current video games belong to big corporations. His new studio will do the same.

While X is shipwrecked among bots and manipulated algorithms, Elon Musk’s political message continues to be linked to that of President-elect Donald Trump. The tech magnate has long been against inclusion, including in video games, so his next goal is to create a new developer. The head of Tesla and SpaceX intends to create a studio that relies on artificial intelligence to build its video games. In addition, he has assured that most titles will be developed by large corporations, paradoxical considering that his companies are exactly that, large corporations.

“Too many game studios that are owned by massive corporations. xAI is going to start an AI game studio to make games great again,” he wrote. In a tough year for the video game industry, titles such as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Silent Hill 2 Remake, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Balatro, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Black Myth: Wukong, Astro Bot, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Neva, Star Wars Outlaws, Animal Well, Helldivers 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Stellar Blade, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero, Tekken 8... it seems that no one has to come along to “make games great again” when they are already great and of high quality.

Elon Musk confronts Avowed art director

Elon Musk has found himself at the center of yet another controversy, this time with the art director of Avowed, Obsidian Entertainment’s new video game for the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. “I wanted so badly to make him mad with my game, and I cannot believe it actually happened,” Matt Hansen wrote on his Bluesky account. Musk reacted in the worst way, trying to accuse Obsidian of deliberately excluding straight white men from hiring processes.
