Elon Musk’s ex-wife reveals the word the tycoon uses that is key to his success: Steve Jobs also used it

It’s a trick that seems easy to use, but not everyone can master it.

Update:

Elon Musk is someone who has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. In addition to being the owner of Space X and the social network X (formerly known as Twitter), this billionaire was once again trending worldwide after giving a Nazi salute at Donald Trump’s inauguration as the new president of the United States. Being a guy who is everywhere, many wonder where he came from or why he became so famous, and his ex-wife addressed this issue a few years ago.

Justine Musk, who was married to the tycoon until 2008, revealed in a TEDx talk what she believes is the key to her ex-husband’s success: his ability to say “no.” In Justine’s words, Musk developed an impressive ability to reject requests that divert his attention and energy, a habit that always allowed him to focus on the things that really matter. For her, this act goes far beyond refusing something; it is an act of precision and intention that is essential to protecting his resources and channeling them toward his own goals.

Steve Jobs was also a master at saying “no”

In that talk, Justine Musk also commented that behind all the “no’s” her ex-husband uttered over the years lay a deeper “yes” committed to his own personal goals. However, this practical approach is not unique to him, as Steve Jobs also seemed to follow the same philosophy, and always demonstrated it with one of his most famous quotes: “Be quick to say no and slow to say yes.” Thus, one of the keys to achieving success in life lies in the ability to know when to say “no” to things that distract you from what is truly important. Do you agree with that?
