Everyone wants these N64 games on Nintendo Switch 2, and fans believe they have discovered the definitive clue about their arrival
According to this theory, Nintendo would have shown them in a very subtle way by confirming the latest features that were implemented to the N64 emulator.

It has long been possible to play many Nintendo 64 games on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, since the Japanese company introduced a few years ago the N64 emulator for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. There are titles such as Super Mario 64, Pokémon Stadium, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Banjo-Kazooie... but there are some that have not yet arrived, as is the case of Donkey Kong 64 and Super Smash Bros. among others.
Well, that could be about to change, as a group of X users have investigated a detail that everyone overlooked several weeks ago. It turns out that when Nintendo showed the new features of the emulator (CRT filter, rewind...), behind the blurred background of the menu several game boxes could be seen, and after analyzing the patterns and color palette of each of them, they claim to have deduced the games in question.
According to the theory of these users based on the composition and color tone of the alleged cover art behind that blurred background, these are the games that would come to Nintendo 64 on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
- Donkey Kong 64
- Rayman 2: The Great Scape
- Super Smash Bros.
- Glover
- Forsaken / S.C.A.R.S. (the composition of their art are similar, so they are not sure which of the two could be)
Will these games really make it to the service, or were they just placeholders to showcase these features, or worse, is it just the imagination of fans running wild with the hope of new games in the future?
