‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ will premiere its fourth season this spring, but thanks to the theatrical release of ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - To the Hashira Training Arc’, there are several people who were able to see the beginning of this arc. There are many doubts about the expansion of the new ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ arc, and this arc only covers new chapters of the manga, how much does the movie adapt? The series reveals that Kaguya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, is facing his end after his illness has worsened. With war on the horizon, the Pillars must prepare and manage to manifest the Demon Slayer Mark, which both Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito were able to unleash in the previous arc.

The first line of swordsmen who fought Muzan all bore this mark, and the only clue to it is that when one appears, the others begin to appear as if they resonate with each other. Thus, the fact that Tanjiro achieved his caused other fighters around him to achieve it as well.  How do you do it? Muichiro explains that his body was on the edge of the abyss before he unlocked his mark, so the Pillars have no choice but to train and try to awaken this hidden power.

Tanjiro receives his sword with the guard of Kyojuro Rengoku. The protagonist meets with Zenitsu and Inosuke and tells them that the Pillars will start a powerful training, although Giyu Tomioka will not be present for some unknown reason. At the beginning of the training, in the last moments of what is shown in the movie, we see Kaguya’s raven contacting Tamayo so that she can work with Shinobu Kocho to learn more about the changes Nezuko’s body is going through. An excellent beginning that prepares us for the most intense moments of ‘Demon Slayer’: Kimetsu no Yaiba’.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is a worldwide phenomenon, as the release of the movie proves, and even though it’s just a teaser for the start of Season 4 for those who can’t wait, the opportunity to see it in theaters is reason enough to attract a large audience. On its opening day, February 22, the film grossed approximately $1.8 million in the United States. These are excellent numbers for a screening that is expected to gross a total of 11 million this weekend.
