EVO 2023
EVO 2023 schedule: Street Fighter 6 and Arc System Works on the main stages
The biggest fighting game event in the world unveils their full schedule: games, tournaments, and a surprise from the developers of Dragon Ball FighterZ.
There are only a few days left until the start of the biggest event in the fighting game genre, EVO 2023. After a complicated time due to the coronavirus pandemic, which affected all aspects of life, the tournament will once again be face-to-face as it was in 2022, being played between August 4 and 6 in the usual setting of Las Vegas, Nevada.
As always, we will see more than just matches between the best players in the world, since at the moment a panel is scheduled for the inaugural gala for which Arc System Works has a surprise prepared. It is not at all confirmed what it is about, but it is an open secret that the studio is engaged in a new installment of one of their star franchises. They are the developers behind titles like Guilty Gear Strive, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and the BlazBlue series, which of course will also be present.
And as a last minute surprise, Riot Games just announced that they’ll be present at the event, with a playable demo of their very own fighting game, Project L, which is based on their Runeterra universe of League of Legends lore.
