Ewan McGregor couldn’t be clearer about season 2 of ‘Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi’: “What are we waiting for?”
The actor is still waiting for Lucasfilm to approve the project.

Ewan McGregor has repeatedly stated that his time as Obi-Wan Kenobi is not over. Whenever asked, the actor insists that he wants to return for a second season of the series. In fact, he recently said that he had set himself a task: to watch the entire series of ‘The Clone Wars’. At Fan Expo Chicago, he went even further and addressed Disney directly, albeit in jest (via ThePopVerse).
“Somebody give me a job. Come on Disney. We need season 2 for goodness sakes. What are we waiting for?” McGregor also acknowledged that when Disney+ came out, he thought Obi-Wan Kenobi would be the big draw, but The Mandalorian filled that role.

Ewan McGregor is not confirmed for the second season of ‘Ahsoka’
The media echoed some words from Ewan McGregor, but they were misinterpreted. It was said that the actor had confirmed his presence in the second season of ‘Ahsoka’, when in fact he was referring to his wife, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who plays General Syndulla in the series. Even so, some leaks suggest that there will be flashbacks to the Clone Wars starring Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin, and Ahsoka.
