‘Fallout’ Drops the Bomb and Presents Its Latest Trailer for Prime Video

It’s time to run for the vaults. Prime Video has released the bombs with the new Fallout trailer, giving us more details on the Vault Dwellers, Brotherhood of Steel, Ghouls, and other fauna and strange organizations that inhabit the Wasteland in Los Angeles.

Everyone wants to save the world, they just disagree on how

The trailer goes through several moments of the Fallout story, from the presentation of the vaults before the nukes fell, to the post-apocalyptic world that our three protagonists, Lucy (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and Maximus (Aaron Moten) will have to survive in this world without rules. Several elements of the video games are present and look very well adapted for the small screen, from enemies, costumes, effects and wow, even Mister Handy, who wants to harvest Lucy’s organs, looks pretty good.

A series that aims to be “almost” Fallout 5

In a recent interview, executive producer Jonathan Nolan talked about the process of creating this series, emphasizing how as a product that will become canon in the history of Fallout, this could be a sequel in the history of the game. “Each of the [Fallout] games is a discrete story – different city, distinct protagonist – within the same mythology. Our series sits in relation to the games as the games sit in relation to each other. It’s almost like we’re Fallout 5. I don’t want to sound presumptuous, but it’s just a non-interactive version of it, right?”

Fallout is getting closer

Only in November did we begin to see the first glimpses of the Wasteland in live-action. Prime Video released the first trailer for the series during CCXP before a series of posters and images gave us our first look at the series. Fallout will premiere on Prime Video exclusively on April 11, 2024. (Yes, one day earlier).
