‘Fantastic Four’ Already Has A Villain; Galactus will make his debut in the MCU and already has an actor

After many rumors, the ‘Fantastic Four’ already have the first villain they will face in the MCU. Although many pointed to Dr. Victor Von Doom (even as a new villain for Phase 6 and 7), it is the Devourer of Worlds, Galactus.

According to an article in The Hollywood Reporter, it will be British actor Ralph Ineson who will bring to life the impressive cosmic terror of the comics. The actor’s credits include appearances as the dark wizard Amycus Carrow in the ‘Harry Potter’ films, Dagmer Cleftjaw in ‘Game of Thrones’, as well as his most recent involvement in video games, as the impressive voice of CId in Final Fantasy XVI. Meanwhile, this is not Ineson’s first appearance in the MCU, as he appeared as a Ravager pilot in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.

Fantastic Four to feature all-star cast

In addition to this afternoon’s announcement, it was also announced a few hours ago that veteran actor John Malkovich is joining the cast of Fantastic Four, although his role is being kept under wraps for now, and will be his first approach to the world of Marvelsince Sam Raimi wanted the actor to play Vulture for ‘Spider-Man 4′.

‘Fantastic Four’ still has a long way to go, but its star-studded cast is raising the bar for what we can expect from this movie. Just on February 14th, Marvel Studios confirmed the actors who will bring the First Family to life in the MCU: Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, The Last of Us) will play Reed Richards, while Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning, The Crown) will play Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear, No Hard Feelings) will play Ben Grimm and Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) will play Johnny Storm.

Also joining the cast are Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer, Paul Walter Hauser in a mystery role, and the recently announced Ralph Ineson as Galactus.

‘Fantastic Four’ will be released on July 25, 2025.
