Farewell to a new God of War and another multiplayer video game from the creators of Days Gone: PlayStation cancels them
Neither of the canceled games were officially announced.

Concord was a turning point for PlayStation. Firewalk Studios' multiplayer title was born to revitalize the company and ended up having an untimely funeral. With only a week left to live, Sony was forced to pull the game and rethink its future. The result is well known: the title is dead and buried, while the studio has closed. After the cancellation of The Last of Us multiplayer project, more similar news comes. Jason Schreier, a journalist from Bloomberg, has revealed that the Japanese have canceled a God of War service game that was being developed by Bluepoint Games, a studio specialized in remasters and remakes.
According to the journalist, among the canceled games there is also another unannounced multiplayer title, this time from Bend Studio, the creators of Days Gone. This last case is quite significant because the directors of the video game regretted that PlayStation did not give the green light to the development of a new adventure starring Deacon St. John.

What will become of Bend Studio and Bluepoint Games?
In light of this uncertain situation, the question arises as to what will happen to Bend Studio and Bluepoint Games. A PlayStation representative told Bloomberg that the company has no intention of shutting down either studio and will work with them to “determine what their next projects will be.
Sony’s strategy seems to have taken a turn. In addition to the multiplayer project set in the Horizon universe, Bungie is still working on Marathon and Heaven Studios has not stopped the development of Fairgam$, the video game captained by Jade Raymond. Helldivers 2 has been a great success for PlayStation, so they will continue to offer new content.
