The new ‘Karate Kid’ movie shows its first poster with Jackie Chan as a mentor.
There are classics that stand the test of time. Among them are some brands like the one we have in our hands today. We are talking about ‘Karate Kid: Legends’, the new chapter of the saga that will be released on May 30, 2025. After having recently known its official title, now we see the first image of its protagonists characterized for the film. You can see it below.
This is the official poster for Karate Kid: Legends starring Jackie Chan
The official poster shows the three main characters in full detail. The face of Jackie Chan, who can no longer hide his gray hair, is surprising. He looks battered by the years, especially for his character in the movie. Who knows if this will be the last time we see him in the role of the mentor. Next to him is Ralph Macchio, who joined the cast.
Below, in full torso, we can see Ben Wang ready to unleash his martial arts skills. The young man will play Chan’s new student in a story about which no details are known yet. What we can take from the poster is that there is a ‘Karate Kid’ vibe that has not been felt for years.
The film began shooting on April 3 and it has not yet been confirmed whether the work has been completed. We know that in the direction is Jonathan Entwistle, unknown to the Hollywood profile, but who has to his credit the direction of several episodes of the series ‘The End of the F***ing World’ (2017-2019), ‘I Am Not Okay with This’ (2020) and ‘Hello Tomorrow!’ (2023).
