First look at Sylvester Stallone in the latest Guardians of the Galaxy 3 trailer

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 has revealed in a new trailer the first look at Sylvester Stallone reprising his role as Stakar Ogord, better known as Starhawk, who returns once again to the MCU franchise after his debut in the previous Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

This has been shared by Marvel Studios through a new trailer with numerous scenes never seen before and that you can see on these lines, in addition to showing more footage of Rocket in action, one of the main protagonists of this third and final installment of such a peculiar group of galactic superheroes; or at least with the formation that we all know so far.

James Gunn’s farewell to The Guardians of the Galaxy

Thanks to this new 1-minute video clip, we get to see never-before-seen footage from Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. And this third installment of the saga promises great action scenes, with the Guardians facing great dangers such as the High Evolutionary or Adam Warlock. In addition, the return of Sylvester Stallone as Starhawk is confirmed, as he appears for a moment in this new trailer equipped with what looks like a space suit.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is the farewell film for director James Gunn from Marvel Studios, as he has been working on the new DC Cinematic Universe as co-director of DC Studios for a few months now. And as Gunn has mentioned on several occasions, it will also be a farewell movie for the characters, as some of them will not return in the future as part of the MCU.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 will be released on May 5, 2023.
