First official synopsis of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’: the darkest and most streetwise Spidey yet is coming
The art book for the new Marvel Studios film, in collaboration with Sony Pictures, reveals the first description of its arachnid story.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ the new Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland as part of the MCU, is scheduled to hit theaters this summer, although key details of its plot are gradually being revealed, either through revealing and surprising leaks or as part of the film’s official merchandising. The latter is the case with the first official synopsis revealed by the film’s official art book, which has already been reported by media outlets such as Screen Rant, thus revealing several details of the plot.
First details of the plot of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’
Although the script for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is being kept under the strictest secrecy—as one would expect—some of its main characters have been confirmed, including Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, and Michael Mando’s Scorpion, as well as other street villains such as Tombstone, Tarantula, and Boomerang. However, we now know more about the film’s plot thanks to Barnes & Noble, the publisher of the official art book for the new Spider-Man movie, entitled ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day - The Art Of The Movie.
Thus, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will have to face the repercussions of his past while solving an important mystery, all in a distinctly streetwise tone, something that was sorely lacking in the MCU’s Spidey: “Four years have gone by since we last caught up with our friendly neighborhood hero.
