First teaser for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, the new Disney and Marvel series that will push the Man Without Fear to the limit

The first teaser for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ makes our hair stand on end and is a whirlwind of emotion. Matt Murdock will see many old friends and enemies in this new series.

Daredevil: Born Again releases its first teaser and it’s full of surprises. Charlie Cox makes a grand return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where he’ll be joined by familiar faces including Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/Punisher and even Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye. These official images have raised expectations as the series promises to push the Man Without Fear to the limit, both physically and mentally.

First teaser for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is action-packed, exciting and brings back old friends

Disney and Marvel have released the first teaser for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ that will make your hair stand on end at what it means to see such iconic characters from this small universe return. Below is the video in question, which is just twenty seconds long:

This teaser clearly confirms the arrival of the Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is the version of Frank Castle played by Jon Bernthal in both ‘Daredevil’ and his own Netflix series, which is very good news for fans of this incarnation of Marvel’s popular anti-hero. Although Bernthal’s return as Castle was already known, the fact that it has been confirmed means that his fans can breathe a sigh of relief after so many delays and recent problems, such as with Mahershala Ali’s ‘Blade’.

Another major return is that of Bullseye, whose real name is Benjamin Poindexter, played by Wilson Bethel. While in Season 3 of the Netflix series this villain worked for the Kingpin and was dedicated to taking Daredevil’s identity to commit crimes by impersonating him and destroying his reputation, in this teaser he appears to be the character Daredevil fights in one sequence. In this scene, Bullseye appears to be wearing his iconic costume from the comics, in a black or dark blue color with a bullseye on his forehead.

Of course, Matt Murdock will also face off against Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, who we have already seen in the MCU in movies like ‘Hawkeye’ (2021) or ‘Echo’ (2024). One of the main attractions of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will be seeing the two characters clash, which will be very interesting to see, especially since the end of ‘Echo’ suggested that Fisk wanted to run for mayor of New York, which would give him a good public image and legitimacy to continue his illegal business without arousing suspicion. Other characters such as White Tiger and Muse are also expected to appear, bringing more characters from the comics into the live action.

The premiere date for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will premiere on March 4, 2025, and the first season will consist of nine episodes. It will premiere exclusively on Disney+.
