‘Focker In-Law’ set for Thanksgiving 2026; Ariana Grande joins the cast
The fourth installment of the ‘Meet the Parents’ saga reunites the original cast and introduces a new generation of Fockers.

Universal Pictures has officially announced 'Focker In-Law’, the fourth film in the 'Meet the Parents’ franchise, will hit U.S. theaters on Thursday, November 26, 2026, just in time for Thanksgiving weekend. The title plays off the iconic surname of Greg Focker, once again played by Ben Stiller, and hints at a new round of family chaos centered around in-laws and generational clashes.
Who’s back and who’s new?
Returning cast members include:
- Ben Stiller as Greg Focker
- Robert De Niro as Jack Byrnes
- Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, and Owen Wilson reprising their original roles
The biggest surprise? Ariana Grande joins the cast in a major role, reportedly playing the fiancée of Greg and Pam’s son, Henry. Her character is described as “ball-busting” and “the engine of the new movie,” according to Stiller.
Also joining the cast:
- Beanie Feldstein
- Skyler Gisondo (likely as Henry Focker)
The film will be directed by John Hamburg, who also wrote the screenplay and previously worked on 'Meet the Fockers and Little Fockers’.
What’s the story?
While plot details are still under wraps, the film is said to mirror the original 'Meet the Parents’, but this time, it’s Greg and Pam’s son introducing his partner to the family. Expect awkward dinners, surveillance-level parenting, and plenty of cringe-worthy moments.
