The possible attitude of the Japanese company to everything that has happened.

Nintendo Switch 2 is now official, a reality about which we will know more in the Nintendo Direct to be held on April 2, and of which Nintendo showed us the first images last Thursday. About the announcement former employees of Nintendo of America have spoken, noting that the continuous leaks that have occurred over the months have affected the ability of the Japanese company to surprise their fans.

They are Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang of the YouTube channel Kit & Krysta, two former Nintendo employees who have found success as content creators. The company’s former public relations officers have spoken out about the impact the leaks may have had within Nintendo. “I’m 100% sure they are really pissed off, in the most serious way,” Yang said. “We joke about the hot exclamation point emails. They are hot, hot, hot. How many exclamation points can there be at the end? They are very, very, very, very upset about it.”

Nintendo Switch 2’s many problems with leaks

Could the leaks have caused the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 presentation to be brought forward? We don’t know at this point, but it’s not impossible that Nintendo planned to do it in a different way, so that it could be included in the already announced Nintendo Direct in April. The ex-employees went on to say that it is a “high-stress situation” when employees have to deal with leak investigations on top of their normal work.

“It’s a highly chaotic situation in there right now and a real pressure cooker.” Finally, he is confident that they will eventually find out where it all came from: “They do have very good people who investigate these things. They will eventually get to the bottom of it.”
