Fortnite brings forward the start of its new season: this is the new date and schedule

Epic Games has announced the early start of the new Fortnite season through the usual channels. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 will be brought forward by only a few hours, but it has also made the set ending time has changed and we should be forewarned.

Epic Games moves the start of the next Fortnite season up a few hours

Via the X account @FortniteStatus, Epic Games has announced its plans to move the start of the new Fortnite season forward by several hours. Before the change it would start on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 2:00 AM ET, after the change it will start a day earlier at 11:00 PM ET.

In other words, the new date and time is August 15, 2024, at 11:00 PM ET, which corresponds to the following times in the United States:

The start of the season has been brought forward by three hours for a reason that has not been disclosed, but as compensation, Epic Games will activate the XP Supercharged on August 13th, which means that during the next three levels of our account, we will receive experience at a higher rate than usual.

We remind you that this date and time announced by Epic Games is the definitive one for now, so any in-game information that does not reflect these changes is outdated.

What can be expected from this event is the return of the mysterious Pandora’s Box from previous seasons of this chapter of the game. It is expected that during the event Megalo Don will fill the tank of the giant Brutal Beachhead with Nitro, but something will go wrong and several explosions will be triggered along the entire pipeline from this location to the Redline Rig.
