Fortnite Crew will include more content for the same price starting in December: Here are the changes and new features

Epic Games is bringing LEGO and Music Passes to Fortnite Crew without increasing the price of the service.

Epic Games is planning a major change to Fortnite Crew, the monthly subscription for its flagship video game. Starting in December 2024, all subscribed players will get more member benefits for the same price. In addition to getting access to the Fortnite Battle Pass and exclusive cosmetic items, starting this month, you’ll also get access to LEGO and Music Passes at no additional cost. We leave you with this detailed information below:

Epic Games Announces big change for Fortnite Crew: LEGO and Music Pass access added for the same price

In a blog post on the game’s official website, Epic Games has announced a big change for Fortnite Crew, its monthly subscription system created in 2020. Broadly speaking, all future LEGO and Fortnite Music passes that are released will be added as member benefits at no additional cost to subscribing players. This is good news for members, as they will effectively be getting more content for the same price they’ve been paying: $11.99 per month or its equivalent in other local currencies.

With this change, the prices of Battle Passes and Battle Pass Reward Bundles, which are used to gain 25 levels directly, have changed slightly: Single Battle Passes now cost 1,000 V-Bucks instead of 950, and Battle Pass Reward Bundles now cost 1,800 V-Bucks instead of 1,850.

The Fortnite Crew was created by Epic Games in 2020 as an additional business model for Fortnite. It is a monthly subscription that has been well received by players, and over time has gained additional benefits such as Rocket League’s Rocket Pass Premium. It is a way to accumulate digital items within the popular video game without having to spend too much money, so it has become a very popular alternative to direct purchases in the Fortnite store since its launch.

Remember that all unlocked items remain our property even if we cancel our subscription to the Fortnite Crew. Therefore, its main advantage is that we can get items at a much lower cost than buying them individually in the store, although it is true that its main disadvantage is that we have to “settle” with what the company offers us each month.

With this change, Epic Games hopes to encourage more players to switch to the subscription model, as well as build loyalty among those who are already members. These constant additions mean that more and more items can be obtained for the same amount of money, which is positive for those who are already subscribers and serves as an incentive for those who have not yet joined to do so.
