Fortnite presents Myths and Mortals: Chapter 5 Season 2, which will visit the Greek mythology

Less than a day to go until the arrival of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, but Epic Games has already shown the official artwork of Myths and Mortals, which is the name of this new season of the game. Fortnite fully immerses itself in Greek mythology, bringing to the game deities such as Zeus, Hades, and Aphrodite, who will have to deal with the evils unleashed after the opening of Pandora’s Box in a mini-event of the previous season.

After teasing us with several teasers showing Zeus, Hades, and Aphrodite, Epic Games goes all out and shows us the official artwork of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, called Myths and Mortals.

In addition to the aforementioned Zeus, Hades, and Aphrodite, we can also see other key figures from Greek mythology that will have outfits in the game, such as Cerberus, Poseidon, and Artemis. We also see some of the new weapons and items that will be available in this new season: a lightning bolt from Zeus, a snake with chains? from Hades, the wings of Icarus that Aphrodite has, and in short, all kinds of hints of what is to come in less than twenty-four hours.

Of course, Fortnite’s island map is also expected to be revamped, though as a mere step between seasons, we don’t think there will be any drastic changes beyond replacing three or four named locations with new, classic Greece-themed ones.

In short, Epic Games continues to offer support for Fortnite, its particular golden goose. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is the 29th season in total, which is soon to be said, following the game’s launch in September 2017. Each season of the game is about three months long - with a few exceptions like Origins - and refreshes the map, offers players new outfits, and brings new weapons and items to keep the title as fresh as possible.
