Fortnite Summer 2024 Event: Dates, Pirates of the Caribbean Outfits, New Quests, and Free Rewards
All Sweat Summer, the Fortnite summer event for 2024, is now available. Many weighty changes and novelties and many incentives to spend time on the island of the game.
The Fortnite Summer Event 2024, called All Sweat Summer, is here, and as in previous occasions, it comes loaded with all kinds of changes and new features, including new quests, themed outfits, and free rewards of all kinds, in addition to new outfits and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” mini-pass captained by Jack Sparrow himself. Here is everything there is to know about this Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 event, including dates and how to participate:
Fortnite All Sweat Summer event: how long it lasts and how to enter
The event begins on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 9:00 am ET and ends on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 2:00 am ET, which is also when this season ends. These times correspond to the following times in the United States:
- ET - 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 4 through 2:00 a.m. Friday, August 16.
- CT - 8:00 a.m. Thursday, July 4 through 1:00 a.m. Friday, August 16.
- PT - 6:00 a.m. Thursday, July 4 through 11:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15.
New weapons, items, and more are returning with Fortnite’s All Sweat Summer event.
As part of both the summer event and the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, these are some of the weapons and items that will be available:
- Ship In A Bottle: A cursed ship trapped in a bottle. Open it to free the ship from the spectral depths and let it ram your enemies with a devastating blow.
- Cannon: A pirate cannon that has two firing modes: we can shoot cannonballs, or we can ride inside it and be launched wherever we aim.
- Treasure Map: A map that reveals the location of a buried treasure chest full of valuable loot.
- Flintlock Pistol: A pirate pistol with great power and even greater recoil.
All of these items have a pirate theme that matches the summer setting of this event, so their inclusion has been celebrated by fans. They will be available along with the Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise on July 19.
These weapons and items change the gameplay and allow us to adopt new strategies while they are active. For example, with the new Ship in a Bottle, we will be able to destroy enemy structures, which will discourage players who tend to be more entrenched in their own structures from relying as much on that tactic.
New ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ mini-battle pass with Jack Sparrow outfits and more in Fortnite
Another big addition to this year’s summer event is the arrival of a Pirates of the Caribbean mini-pass, as well as outfits for Jack Sparrow and other characters from the Disney film franchise:
- Jack Sparrow
- Cursed Jack Sparrow
- Davy Jones
- Elizabeth Swann
- Captain Barbossa
Both Jack Sparrow outfits are exclusive to the Mini Battle Pass, which costs 1,000 V-Bucks and will be available on July 19. Completing the exclusive quests will allow us to advance to unlock all the rewards, as well as upgrade several levels of this season’s Battle Pass.
The other outfits in the collaboration - Davy Jones, Elizabeth Swann and Captain Barbossa - are also expected to arrive at the store that day. They will also bring their own themed accessories to complete their respective sets.
The purchase of the Mini-Pass was accidentally enabled on June 22nd of last year, although Epic Games corrected it almost immediately. This allowed some players to purchase it early and gain access to Jack Sparrow’s outfit.
New and classic summer outfits arrive in the Fortnite store to celebrate the event
Another of the great classics of Fortnite this season is the arrival of summer-themed outfits in the in-game store. During these dates, we will see rotating outfits like Beach Brutus and Jules, variations of the standard Brutus and Jules that, as the name suggests, are decked out in beach-appropriate attire.
If you are waiting for outfits in this style, we can expect many of the characters in this theme to arrive in the store during this summer event, so it is a good idea to keep an eye on the daily offer to get the avatars you like the most.
