The final event of Fortnite Season 4 Chapter 4 will be more complex than we first thought. Kado Thorne’s time machine will cause a glitch in the space-time continuum, bringing back the Chapter 1 map for a month. Below is everything we know so far:

With the arrival of Fortnite patch 26.30, we already reported that numerous clues about what will happen in the final event of this season were added to the game. Several data miners who are precise in their information, such as iFireMonkey, have briefly explained what will happen in Fortnite between November and December 2023.
Here is a point-by-point summary of all the key details of the game for this interseason period:
- Kado Thorne’s time machine will fail, causing the island of Chapter 4 to go back in time and collide with the island of Chapter 1. It will not be the entire Chapter 1 map, but this new map will mix some areas of the Chapter 1 and Chapter 4 maps. This is considered to be a month-long event codenamed “Rufus” in the game files.
- This event would begin on November 6, 2023, at 4:00 AM ET and end on December 2, 2023, at 10:00 PM ET.
- Some classic weapons and classic weapon models will return.
- The classic Battle Bus will return.
- There will be two sets of quests.
- There will be map changes each week during the four-week event.
- There will be a LEGO collaboration codenamed “Rufus Juno”.
- At the end of this mini-season, the Black Hole will return, taking us to Chapter 5.
All of this, according to iFireMonkey, would explain why the leaked information out there regarding this next season of the game does not yet detail a specific name for it. Although it is not Chapter 5 Season 1, it could have a special name or Epic Games could simply call it “Chapter 4 Season 5,″ even if it lasts only a month.
We remind you that with the arrival of patch 26.30, the secret room of Kado Thorne’s time machine was opened, and in it, we can see a very specific date: July 12, 2018, which is when Chapter 1 Season 5 of Fortnite was released.
