Fortnite will host a Kang and Kodos event to welcome the new season of ‘The Simpsons’: date and times
Fortnite is preparing to welcome its new Simpsons-themed season in style with an exclusive and unique event.
The new mini-season of ‘The Simpsons’ in Fortnite is just around the corner, and Epic Games has officially announced a small welcome event. This unique event will take place in-game on Saturday, November 1. In this news item, we provide you with all the relevant information, including dates and times across the United States and what will happen at the event.
Fortnite officially announces its event to introduce The Simpsons season: aliens Kang and Kodos bring Springfield to the island
Through a short teaser shared on social media, Epic Games has announced the upcoming Fortnite event, which will welcome the new season of The Simpsons, running throughout November. The event itself will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM ET. This date and time corresponds to the following times across the United States:
- 11:00 AM ET
- 10:00 AM CT
- 8:00 AM PT
The event takes place just half an hour before the arrival of the game’s new season, so it is possible that the game will need to be updated with patch 38.00 beforehand, and Epic Games will launch the new content once this brief event is over. To announce the start of the deadline, there is a countdown within the game, visible both from the lobby and within the map, in the area where Bart’s treehouse has appeared, northwest of the island.
For this reason, it is expected that the event will be relatively brief. In any case, it should not exceed ten to fifteen minutes in length.
What will happen at the Simpsons event in Fortnite?
The various social media accounts for Fortnite and The Simpsons have released a short, entertaining teaser that hints at what’s to come in the game: the evil Kang and Kodos arrive on Fortnite Island, bringing their intergalactic mischief with them. Determined to get their hands on the secrets of Zero Point, they set out to wreak havoc in order to distract Jonesy and company from their true goal. Apparently, this is how Epic Games and 20th Century Studios have found a way to “justify” the arrival of all these characters, as well as the city of Springfield itself, to the new Fortnite map.

Kang and Kodos already have a certain probability of appearing at the start of matches, piloting their UFO near the battle bus, which also serves as a small prelude to the event.
It should be noted that this new themed season brings with it a revamped map to Fortnite, featuring several iconic locations from The Simpsons series, such as Moe’s Bar and the Nuclear Power Plant. In addition, new themed skins will be coming to both the store and via the Battle Pass, including Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Flanders, and even Krusty the Clown.
