Fortnite will say goodbye to Chapter 5 with a big final event: date, time, and how to watch live
Epic Games is preparing a big event that will mark the end of Chapter 5 and give way to Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2, the long-awaited return to the Golden Age.
Fortnite is entering the final stretch of its Chapter 5 Season 4, and it has a big event called The Prelude that will serve as a farewell. How to watch the new Fortnite live event: date and schedule
Through its official channels, Epic Games has announced the date of the next Fortnite event. It will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 6:30 PM ET. This date and time corresponds to the following time zones in the United States:
- 6:30 ET
- 5:30 CT
- 3:30 PT
To see it live, we have to connect to the game and select the mode called Remix: The Prelude. As announced, it will be a small musical event, as Epic Games recommends us to “turn up the volume”. Up to four players will be able to participate in the same group, so we will be able to watch it with several other people. The island code, in case you have not found the mode you are looking for, is 9999-0000-1000.
It’s expected to serve as an appetizer for what’s to come with Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2, the game’s new season. Additionally, an in-game countdown has appeared that can be seen from the lobby, letting you know the exact start time of the event.
This countdown will also appear above the Restored Reels movie screen, where the event will take place:
We recommend that you be connected about half an hour before the event to avoid the dreaded login problems, and that you join a game about three or four minutes before the event starts to be able to watch it from within the game itself.
When does Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2 starts?
Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2 will begin on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2:00 am ET. This date and time corresponds to the following times in the United States:
- 2:00 AM ET
- 1:00 AM CT
- 11:00 PM PT
To play the new Fortnite season, we will have to connect to the game from this date and time and download patch 32.00, which is the one that adds all the new content. In addition, it will also require several hours to wait while Epic Games servers are in maintenance mode to ensure that the new season is implemented correctly.
