Update:

The biggest crossover of the fall is officially underway. Epic Games has confirmed the highly-anticipated arrival of the Netflix sensation KPop Demon Hunters into the world of Fortnite. Following a summer of record-breaking success where the animated film became the streaming giant’s most-watched title ever with over 325 million views, the demon-slaying K-Pop trio HUNTR/X—Zoey, Mira, and Rumi—are trading in their stages for the Battle Royale island. This is everything we know so far about this collaboration.

The reveal of the new outfits has been a carefully choreographed show, perfectly fitting for a K-Pop debut. The official teaser campaign kicked off when singer Rei Ami, who provides the singing voice for Zoey in the film, posted a sneak peek of the Zoey outfit on social media.

This set the stage for her bandmates, with the group’s dance lead, Mira, stepping into the spotlight next. Her outfit was unveiled through an exciting X exchange involving the official Fortnite account and content creator thebritenite.

Earlier today, IGN exclusively revealed the remaining HUNTR/X member, outfit, Rumi, along with some details of what to expect, guaranteeing players will soon be able to acquire the entire demon-hunting squad in the Fortnite Shop.

Not only outfits, here’s what awaits KPop Demon Hunter fans

Beyond the highly-detailed character outfits, the collaboration is set to deliver substantial new content for players. Reliable Fortnite leaker @HYPEX reports that the event will introduce the limited-time mode (LTM) Demon Rush. According to IGN, this mode will let “work together with your party and the HUNTR/X trio to survive against waves of demons — a change from previous incarnations of Horde Rush”.

Additionally, players can expect a range of new cosmetics, including specialized emotes and other items to fully embrace the K-Pop demon-slaying aesthetic. For community creators, the integration goes even deeper: official assets from the event will become available in the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) creation suite.
