We show you how are the two new outfits from ‘Cowboy Bebop’ that will arrive in Fortnite at the end of the month. This is what Faye Valentine and Spike Spiegel look like in the popular video game from Epic Games.

Lawless, the new season of Fortnite that debuted on February 21, 2025, brought with it many, many new features, most notably its urban and decadent setting and aesthetic. Building on this theme, one of the next anime collaborations will be with 'Cowboy Bebop,' and iconic characters like Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine will arrive on the game’s island to show off their bounty hunting skills. In this news, we tell you everything you need to know about these new outfits, including when they will be available. Let’s get to it.
Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine from ‘Cowboy Bebop’ coming to Fortnite as new outfits
Epic Games has announced the arrival of Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine from the popular late 90s anime ‘Cowboy Bebop’ as new outfits in a blog post on the official Fortnite website. According to the game makers, they will be available in the in-game store starting February 28, 2025 at 7:00 pm ET, but there’s no word on how much they’ll cost or what specific items they’ll bring. Below is the loading screen for Legends of the BEBOP, which shows off what these two characters look like, Fortnite-style.

These characters will not only debut in Fortnite with their own themed outfits and accessories, but they will also bring new quests that will allow us to gain XP and advance in additional COWBOY BEBOP objectives. By completing them, we will be able to get a couple of cosmetic items for free: the COWBOY BEBOP Wrapper and the Legends of BEBOP loading screen, which you can see above this paragraph. These quests will be available between March 1 and March 18, 2025, so there is no time limit on completing them.
The appearance of the outfits is generally faithful to their design in the anime, so her fans are in for a treat. Of the two characters, Faye Valentine is the most faithful to her original design, both in her outfit and her physical proportions. Spike, on the other hand, has a “weirder” design, as the shape of his head is more rounded and he has a less pronounced chin than in the anime. Although not confirmed, the icing on the cake for this collaboration would be the addition of the groovy “The Real Folk Blues” as a music track for use in the lobby. .... Or at the Fortnite Festival!

The collaboration between ‘Cowboy Bebop’ and Fortnite is unexpected, but very well thought out, as it unites two worlds characterized by action, outlaws and bounty hunting. With new outfits, quests and themed cosmetic items, anime fans will be able to pay homage to the legendary series as they battle it out on the island. Now we just have to wait for their arrival to see if Epic Games has managed to capture the essence of these iconic characters. See you Space Cowboy!
